Hi, I am Megan,
Welcome to my Home!
I am a 5 1/2 year old NASCAR orphan, well not really an orphan, you see I found out that if ya can't beat em' join em'!  So I follow Mom and Dad to LOT's of fun NASCAR racing stuff!

Mommy tells me Lake Speed and 2 of the crew from The Melling race team came to our house for dinner but I was only 2 then, so I only have Mom's memories to go by on that one.  I have a baseball (What's up with that mom? Baseball?) cap signed by Kenny Bernstien, Ernie Irvan, Cale Yarbourgh and Richard Petty, it's neat to have it, but I was only 1 month to 1 year old when they signed it, so I do not remember that either....
Ok here's what I can remember! ... 1997
Driving to Martinsville in the pouring rain,,,I tried to tell Mom that the race was going to be postponed but would she listen?  Nooooooo, I had fun though we were in bumper to bumper traffic for about 2 hours so I was able to wave to ALL the police officers directing the traffic :)  AND! I also was able to say "see Mom told ya so"!
Charlie (as friend of Mom's from a team) came to visit for Thanksgiving Weekend that was  lot of fun! We all went hiking! Even Grandma came along!
We always went to the Daytona Speedweeks! This year I brought my friend Jamie from my daycare!  Jamie and I cut each others hair, MOM WAS NOT HAPPY!

ATLANTA! Yes Mom is takin' me to another track! ... 1998

WOW,,,Now Mom is taking me in the pits and garage! Yessssss!!!!  Mom say's the look on my face was Priceless as we walked into the pit's where Rich Woodland's ARCA Car was! Mom also say's I JUMPED when a car started up for the first time (Mom exaggerates).  This was one FANtastic Day!  We walked all around! I saw Ricky Rudd on swing in the infield playground!  (Mom forgot the camera DOH) A guard stopped us and told Mom I had to be 18 to be in the pit's (wonder how he knew I wasn't?) Mom said "oh, we're headed back to the Woodland hauler".  I was allowed to stay there :)  That is where I got to know Aunt Joelle, she is Richie's wife, and very special lady!  Everyone at Woodland Racing was so nice and FUN 2!  Ya know what? I am ONE LUCKY KID!

1999 .... Mom, Uncle Richie, who was shakin' the sillie's out with me :))  (our driver YIKE,  a race car driver driving us to Alabama HOLD ON!) are off to some place called Talladega, Alabama.  I didn't go to any race's this trip .... but I did spend time with some VERY Special people named Cami and Gail.  Also we stayed with a Dear Lady called Di and A guy named Dave stayed where we were staying also.  Mommy went Everywhere while we were in Alabama, but the thing I remember best is Saturday Night, April 25,1999 Lady Di, Mom, Dave and I were headed out to a (fancy cause I had a dress on) dinner, when the sky got very dark and Lady Di Asked Dave to turn the car around and head back towards where we were staying.  I mentioned "Wendy's for dinner, And we all went there!  All dressed up and a Yummy place to go!

Then Mom and I went to Chattanooga, Tennessee!  Barb, a fun friend of Mom's drove our car up there, Mom's back was OUT! We went WAY Up a Hugh hill on an incline train!!  Mom got us a room at a hotel with a pool with bubbles in it IN OUR Room!  Mom Called it a spa, I called it FUN!

Hey!  That guy Dave we saw in Talladega is here in Tenn. and were going out to dinner AGAIN!!!

Then Mom to me on a PLANE!!!!  We surprised Grandma and flew to Florida to see her for Mothers day!   WOW Did I love flying, but I had to fight Mom for the window seat .....

We flew back to Tennessee and had a few more dinners with that Dave guy ....

December 24th, 1999 ....  I got the best Christmas Present any kid could ever want!!   I got a Daddy ,,,,, Yep you guessed it, That guy Dave that kept going out to dinner with us!  Now I have EVERYTHING A child should have ... A Mommy, a super Daddy, World's GREATEST Grandma, Uncle Michael (he comes to visit from CA!), 5 kitty's, a dog, cows and horses out in the pasture out back and A POOL In the back yard!  I am one happy kid!

Mom and Dad went to Daytona This year, They didn't really want to go but Mom had to see her Doctor (A GREAT LADY That Dr. of her's!) So they went down for Thursday and Friday and came back home Saturday.  Mom Was real upset cause she really didn't feel well enough to stay at the track and she wanted so much to show Daddy ALL of Daytona Speedway. Dad saw what he wanted to see, Uncle Richie Raced his Craftsmen Truck! Also Daddy was able to Race a few laps in a real race car ... He said he will take me one day, but SHHHHHH Mom doesn't know :)

Megan :)  Mom and Dad's ANGEL (\o/)

Jada sent you the folowing Megan!

Many children learn to count on their fingers, but a music nurse once taught a child to pray "on her fingers." This was her method:
Your thumb is the digit nearest to your heart, so pray first for those who are closest to you. Your own needs, of course, should be included, as well as those of your beloved family and friends.
The second finger is the one used for pointing. Pray for those who point you toward the truth, whether at church or school. Pray for your teachers, mentors, pastors, and those who inspire your faith.
The third finger is the tallest. Let it stand for the leaders in every sphere of life. Pray for those in authority-both within the body of Christ and those who hold office in various areas of government.
The fourth finger is the weakest, as every pianist knows. Let it stand for those who are in trouble and pain-the sick, injured, abused, wounded, or hurt.
The little finger is the smallest. Let is stand for those who often go unnoticed, including those who suffer abuse and deprivation.
What a simple and wonderful reminder as we pray! What a great tool to use in teaching children how to pray for themselves and others...

Thank you Jada!! God Bless
